You will examine how men and women communicate differently and deal with conflict. Explore what you can do to avoid unintentionally sabotaging your own success. Learn how to use networking successfully.
Participants will address the following:

Learn how to communicate self-confidence and self-esteem by understanding what your voice communicates about you. Understand the message that non-verbals really send. Develop a positive image and a powerful presence.
• How Can I Communicate Effectively Across Genders?
Learn how to listen to the message behind someone’s words and get to the essence of what they are saying. Explore differences in how men and women communicate, and how to work more effectively with both genders. Examine the strengths of your communication style and how to be more effective and efficient in your communications, especially across genders.
• How Do I Handle Conflict With Men? With Other Women?
Each gender deals with conflict differently. Practice how to reach win-win outcomes with both men and women. Examine when and how to use different conflict management styles to improve your overall effectiveness.
• Am I Sabotaging My Own Success?
Women often minimize their own effectiveness. Explore how to ensure you are getting the credit you deserve and reaching your potential. Discover how to communicate more powerfully and discuss "who gets heard and why?"
• How Do I Use Networking Successfully?
Men have always had the ”old boy’s network.” Discover how women can establish networks for themselves, who should be included, and how they should be used.
• Maintaining A Work Life Balance
We are all juggling many balls and are frequently challenged to “get it all done” both at work and in our personal lives. Participants share ideas for managing those challenges in today’s busy world.
